“We each made a 2-3 minute black and white iPhone video for each other and used that as a jumping off point to write/make music. Altogether we made two videos (one from each of us), two audio files of Yumna reading her writing and two pieces of music from Xiaoran. We made them with the intention of it all being interchangeable, so that the audience can pick and choose what story and music they listen to while watching either video, kind of like a choose-your-own-adventure.”
